For a second year, LeaderBridge has partnered with Leadership Montgomery to support the participation of local nonprofit leaders in their Emerging Leaders Program. This year’s four LeaderBridge participants include Irfana Anwer of Ayuda, Alycia Chuney of Montgomery County Collaboration Council, Lisette Dardon of Identity, and Andrea Zawatsky of Mary's Center.
Leadership Montgomery connects and educates leaders through their hands-on curriculum and service-based programs. Emerging Leaders Program is a nine-month, dynamic, professional development program that provides mid-level professionals between 25-35 years of age with the skills and connections necessary for success. Participants hone critical skills such as public speaking, negotiation, conflict resolution, and relationship-building. They are paired with a mentor and gain unique exposure to the issues and key players shaping Montgomery County.
